MIKHAIL AFENDIKOV
Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

  • Founder & CEO of Gastek LLC and Kub-Gas LLC
  • Over 20 years of experience in oil and gas, mining, shipping and financial markets
  • Founder of Kub-Gas and the driver behind numerous resource successes (Oil and Gas and Coal) in Ukraine

DR. TIMOTHY R. MARCHANT
Director

  • Dr. Marchant hs 30 years petroleum experience in Canadian and international exploration, development, production and business development.
  • From 1980 to 2009 Dr. Marchant was with Amoco and BP including positions as Chief Geologist Amoco Canada, Nile Delta Exploration Manager ExxonMobil Amoco Egypt, VP Exploration BP Egypt Oil, Exploration Manager Saudi Arabia, General Manager BP Abu Dhabi, President BP Kuwait Lt. and VP middle East BP International
  • Dr. Marchant has been an Adjunct Professor, Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary since September 2009. Dr. Marchant is currently a director of Vermilion Energy Inc. and Valeura Energy Inc.
  • Dr. Marchant has a Ph.D. Geology, Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland, 1978 and completed the Ivey Executive Program, University of Western Ontario, 1994.

J. FRANK MERMOUD
Director

  • Current President of Orpheus International
  • More than 30 years of experience in international business, facilitating capital, trade and investment in both the public and private sectors
  • Held senior international, economic and commercial policy positions within the United States Government
  • Served as the Secretary of State’s Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs at U.S. Department of State

JOHN BOOTH
Director

  • Qualified lawyer (Ontario, NY and DC), 25 years experience as banker, broker and fund manager in global capital markets
  • Previously worked for firms including Merrill Lynch International, ICAP, CEDEF, ABN AMRO Bank, World Bank and Climate Change Capital
